after HD Native Card install 003 gone from AMS

I just installed HD Native Cards in 2 systems, ran the Firmware updater, and then updated to PT 10.3.5.
With no HD interface attached, I am using a 003.
Pro Tools and Avid Core Audio Manager both see it, and it works fine with Pro Tools,
BUT Apple OS X 10.7 Lion does not see it in AMS, therefore, I am unable to play ANY non Pro Tools audio out the interface.

I reinstalled the FW drivers, and trashed all the usual Apple plist's and no go.

Anyone know whats up?
