Default Mic Preamp to Mbox Pro 3 Line Input impedance

I am bypassing the Mbox 3 PRO mic preamps and inputting directly from my
Condenser Mic ---> Blue Robbie Robot preamp ---> Audix T50K Impedance Matching Transformer ---> Rear Line Input on the rear of the Mbox 3. The T50K Impedance matching Transformer makes me not have to turn up the mic pre gain as much. Is this better? Or should I just bypass this and plug the preamp directly into the Mbox Pro then requiring me to turn up the gain?
