Default Manipulating effects

HI there
Can someone tell me how to go about defining a point on the timeline where for instance an effect, be it eq or reverb etc needs to be removed. ie it is there then its not. or inded a point at which it appears.
Cheers
Peter

Trying to clarify what you're looking to do.... Effect Automation? I think it would do what you want, and also it's able to let you tweak automate, too. So you can turn an effect up and down, not just one solid setting

It's called automation, check your manual, or if you don't have one you can download a PDF here. To make an effect appear or dissapear completely, you should start by automating the bypass function of the plug-in.
