need mpowered 8

I am putting a new system together with a mac pro 8 core.

Eventually it will have pt10 hd and an hd2 192 with it.


I own mpowered 8 and have the ilok key for it. I would like to temporarily use it on this system, but originally I downloaded the upgrade from 6 as I upgraded that system. i never had an mpowered 8 disc.

How can I do this with a mountain lion mac pro?

I can't seem to download the original 8 software anywhere to upgrade it. It might not load with mountain lion anyway.


Any suggestions?

Have you tried to see if you have an Avid account with the downloads?
Go to http://account.avid.com
Login with your original email address when you first got M-Powered 8, unless you have updated it since then to a different email.

If you have an account, check under "My Products"

I did look. I seem to have everything but protools 8 there. I have the extras like melodyne and such registered there and downloadable.

No sign of 8. It is on my ilok.

Is there no way to get this from them? My, how they have changed over there.
