So does video work? A couple posts up, it was reported that the video engine does not launch.

I just finished installing ProTools Ultimate 2021.6 on Windows 10 and I noticed 2 things. Firstly, when launching ProTools Ultimate, I no longer it see it cycling through all my plugin collection. The bar progresses, but before it used to show you the plugins as it scanned. Secondly, with 2021.3.1, and all previous versions with my Avid 003r, I was able to select 2048 as my H/W Buffer Size. Now, I only see 1024 as the highest option. Are these bugs?!

On M1 it only shows 4 cores in the System Usage. Does that mean it only uses 4 cores out of 8? Not good!

Nugen Audio's VISLM2 (DSP version) is listed as a DSP plugin, but once you enable any Hybrid track it mutes it saying "Native plugin-ins have been bypassed because the DSP version is not available" and puts it in Bypass. So it becomes totally unusable. That's supposed to be a good idea?

Can’t believe no one has mentioned that increase in I/O count yet.

It was tested and clearly stated that the video engine does not work on M1 Macs. Here it is from the Requirements and Compatibility page.

Not supported on M1 Macs at this time:
Avid Video Engine is not available on M1 Macs at this time. However, we are working with Apple to resolve known issues to be compatible in the future.
