Digirack version for 7.4cs9?

Howdy,

Been having some intermittent audio playback problems for some time. A track will suddenly stop passing audio. It is random, and usually deactivating and reactivating a plug-in or bus will fix the issue.

Scott at Digi suggested we update to 7.4cs9, but that didn't solve it. I'm now making sure that all of our plug-ins are the correct version. According to the compato docs, 7.4cs9 on Intel Mac Pro requires Version 8 of most of the Digidesign plug-ins.

What I can't seem to find is the version of the DIGIRACK Plug-ins for 7.4cs9? And if it version 8, is there a stand-alone installer anywhere?

All digi-rack plugs are installed with main install or the cs update there's no separate installer.

More likely one of the optional Digi plugins or third party one's that need to be up dated.

Have you trashed the prefs yet?

That's what I thought...

Yep. Done all the usual troubleshooting. May need to do a reinstall now .
Or Upgrade $$$$

Have you run digi-test?

Yes we have, all the usual stuff. Nothing appears to be wrong.

i can't update to cs9

as my magma doesn't seem to like it

and i did have that problem a few times of random audio tracks ceasing to work

including a group of drums on an aux as well

in the case of the disappearing bass last week

on cs5

i uninstantiated (control apple click) the plugs on the channel and it returned

wonder if this will help you

it's a real quirkie spontaneous thing when that happens

restart also fixed it
