Help regarding Avid Recording Studio & Mbox mini

Hello everyone, I need some help regarding the Avid Recording Studio.

I am new to all this, Protools and M-box and everything I am now starting an audio course were i need to use pro tools so i was considering buying something just to help me editing my projects during the 4 months of the course only.

I am more into video editing so i was not thinking about getting a mini mbox 3 because of the price until i saw the Avid Recording Studio for 100 $ .

My question is do you recommend it to me for the use . Does it have any problems or does any member have faced problems with this machine ?

And the machine comes with a pro tools SE version , I have a dvd of pro tools LE 8 can i install it instead of the SE version and get the same quality from the Mbox mini ?


I am using an Alienware m15x laptop with graphic card gtx 260m with 4 gb ram and i7 720Q (1.6 GHz)
