HD native + 8x8x8 won´t show up as core audio

Hi,

I would like to use my 8x8x8 (HD native) for Ableton live, but it does not show up as a core audio device at all.. It´s working fine with pro tools. (and I know that I can´t use Core audio when pro tools is open)

I´m on osx 10.6.8 on a Mac pro 3.1 8core 2.8 (2008) Pro tools HD 10.1.1 (also tried with 10.0.1)

I believe only Avid ASIO Driver has been released (Pro Tools 10) for Native card. And Avid ASIO Driver for Native card doesn't work all that well with Ableton Live 8. I've had to use Mackie LOUD ASIO with Onyx-i I/O. Works perfectly even at 64 H/W Buffer.

I know that I can use my other hardware but I would like to use the 8x8x8..

As I read the spec here it should be working:

"...if you want to use your interface with Pro Tools|HD and other DAW software, you can do that too, as all Pro Tools|HD systems support Core Audio and ASIO drivers."

Any one here got it working??
