Standalone Core Audio Driver for HD System?
I guess HD Accel systems are legacy now, right? I didn't see any other logical place to put this question, so here goes. I'm trying to use my existing DIGI interfaces (96 and 192Digital) with Nuendo 6 on a Mac. I downloaded the standalone core audio driver compatible with Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8.5 in my case), and the driver seems to crash or flake out repeatedly and I'm unable to even connect to it to configure it. The DIGI CoreAudio Manager either says "Not Connected (HW not found)" or "(HW in use)". Audio MIDI setup doesn't allow me to configure it either, though I can sometimes see that there are 8 ins and 8 outs. Nuendo saw it once, but there were no ins or outs displayed. Has anyone else gotten this or something similar to work?
Mac Pro, Quad-Core Intel Xeon 2x2.26 GHz, 8 cores, 12GB RAM, HD Core, HD Accel cards, 96 and 192D interfaces. Thanks! dwf |
