If it makes you happier Andrew, my understanding is that midi was more of an Atari thing while Amiga was more used for samples and such with trackers... Ah, the memories!

Oh yes..
Had ATARI Mega ST4 for Digital audio ( No Mitti here) and as I recall..the Amigas were the choice for video applications back then..
We still use an Amiga based box for console automation !!
Believe it or not !!
Rock solid still.. Paid way more for it than an entire PT HD rig !
