Default How do you like to treat your room mic(s)?

How do you like to treat your room mic(s) insert wise...I just used a Neumman U49 on omni and it picked up such a fantastic balance of the kit in the room. Anyways I know about smashing the hell out of the room mic and then mixing it with the OH's...that works quite well. What do you guys like to do as far as EQing...? What is your insert chain like on your room mic. Since I don't record in a big room...I like throwing a reverb on and then a compressor right after it.
