Default Has anyone compared the 192\'s d/a to the DAC-1\'s??

Just curious if any of you have actually compared audio through the Digi 192's a/d and the Benchmark DAC-1's and was there any improvement with the DAC-1?

thanks,
Steve

Default Re: Has anyone compared the 192\'s d/a to the DAC-1\'s??

A friend of mine just bought one to use w/ his HD2 setup, but was skeptical as he didn't imagine it'd be much better than the 192's DA. Apparently he was blown away & is now calling it the best $800 he's spent on the whole rig. Changes made to eq/dynamics are detectable much sooner now.

I know I'm saving my pennies for one.
