6.0.1 not installing correctly
I've downloaded and installed 6.0.1 LE and whenever i attempt to open Protools, a big question mark appears on top of the PT icon in the dock, and the program never opens. WTF??? I changed the file extension to .dmg after downloading, and it apparently mounted and installed fine, but now i can't get the app to open. What am i missing? Anyone else have this problem? I've looked both here and on Digi's site for a fix, but can't find any info. I'm running a quicksilver 800 mhz with OSX ver. 10.2.3.

When you get a question mark icon in the dock, it means the OS is having trouble locating the application file, and can't launch the program.
Try going into your hard drive and into your digidesign folder and launch the application from there as opposed to using the dock.... If that works, drag out the old dock icon and replace it with the new one. Slim
