Where is my No Charge Pro Tools 12 Upgrade?

I believe I am entitled to a free student upgrade to PT12, but have yet to receive it.

If you wouldn't mind looking in to it for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I also seem to can't find my PT12. Know it's a bit late. Bought a PT 11 crossgrade from 9 Edu with 4 years upgrades in 2013 so should still be able to I guess? Checked everywhere I think

I purchased the Fast Track Solo and was told I would have the option of either PT 10, 11 or 12.

But I can't seem to locate a link to upgrade from Express to v12!

Can anyone assist me?

Hello WadaddaMuzik,

There was no free upgrade from Pro Tools Express to Pro Tools (software). Some resellers bundled upgrades with interfaces, so if that's the case here then they should have included a redemption code/card to provide the upgrade. Who was the reseller and when was this purchased?

AFAIK, Free upgrade to PT12 is only if you bought PT11, or an upgrade to it, on or after October 10th 2014, which if I recall is the date PT12 was announced.

So you'll have to BUY an educational upgrade to PT12. You can do that here ...

You'll have to pass the eligibility test again, so only buy the educational upgrade if you still qualify as a student.

Otherwise, you'll have to buy a standard upgrade here ...

Sadly, you'll be paying much more if you have to go down the route of a standard upgrade than if you'd bought the upgrade before the end of 2015, when you could have had it for $99.
