Did you actually hear it live or did you only see the video. The video left me underwhelmed and rushing to find my old bell bottoms and apache tie.

From the name I guess he is testing for them ...

It sounds pretty good (yep I've got a chance to check it out...). but the real nice part of it is the WPGI a.k.a D.I for Guitars

This makes the guitar go in very well & clean to the DAW...

To say it's AMAZING?!? I'd be more careful with words and like any plug-in out there suggest that the ear will be the judge of that...
I believe a demo will be available soon.

But I urge anyone who consider this product to check it with the Guitar Interface that comes along. this is the cool part...

Out of curiosity, in what way is that impedance matching device superior to other high quality instrument impedance front ends (e.g. the instrument input on an Avalon VT-737SP, Summit TPA-200A, etc.)?

…Little Labs, Avalon U5, Radial JDV, etc…

Well said, Lee. Yeah, I’m curious to find out also. (Hint - none of the mentioned DI solutions “crap out when you turn down the guitar’s volume.)

Personally, I’m looking forward to the Waves headphones. If I squint really hard, I get advanced visions of the trade ads:

“WUP-ASS, now available in cans!”
