You can actually subscribe to the driver KB article, on the right side. You will get notified when that info gets updated (I didn't realize this!)..

Example, Fast Track Ultra driver: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...-Ultra-Drivers On the right side of the page is a "Subscribe" link under Tools.

There is no solution for the Ultra. Some had success with the Pro.

OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 is out.

I've tried the Fast Track Pro with it and an old MacBook Pro. More than 2 months later after Apple released the new OS X, AVID has not released any new drivers (neither a statement) for Fast Track Pro or Fast Track Ultra.

I can confirm that basic functions of the Fast Track Pro works with El Capitan but ironically with AVID drivers uninstalled and deleted from the computer.

Recently I have bought a new Steinberg UR44 for my primary computer that still in Yosemite for security reasons, although Steinberg has released compatible drivers for it. So I will use my old MacBook Pro to continue testing El Capitan with the M-Audio Fast Track Pro if there are any news about it.

Thanks. What does work on the 8R, what doesn't?
I'm still waiting in vain too, although end of support date states 2018. But support and updating a driver can be 2 different things..

TASCAM has just released El Capitan drivers for their long now discontinued US-200 interface. Is there a company named Avid???

It's possible that M-Audio is no longer supporting these discontinued interfaces. M-Audio was sold off by Avid a ways back and has brand new M- Audio interfaces on the market that are el cap ready.

BTW, Avid bought digidesign in 1995.
