Suggestion for Markers

I do a lot of work in audio post and podcasts. One of my regular projects is a radio play, where Markers are a Godsend. The more work I get into, the more I wish there was 1 more marker type.

I would like a marker to indicate the start of a scene. An arrow or a larger mark that would be a separate category in the ⌘5 menu. A mark to designate a hierarchy in the workflow. It would certainly help in all aspects of post audio.

What about using a colored marker?

1: I use Color markers. This makes color between the markers. The color cannot be programmed. It's just a random color from one marker to the next. It helps, but not the way I need.

2: All my markers are diamond shape markers. In marker tutorials, I see the marker as a badge shape marker. I can't find a way to make the badge shape. If I could program badge shape vs. diamond shape, this would be the exact tool I'm asking for.

I'd really like the idea of multiple marker lanes - I often have scene/shot locations set as markers in a session, but add more markers for areas which need work.

Having my fix markers on a seperate lane would be a huge time saver, rather than wading through a couple of hundred markers on a single line...
