Default Waves plugins folder issue

I've done a brand new PT8 installation on a MacPro with the latest Waves installers. Since I'm not covered by WUP anymore, some of the installed new plugins are not authorized.
So, to avoid having to validate Waves message a every time I launch PT, I took the non-authorized plugins out of the Waves plugin folder. The problem is that now I get the "Locate Waves plugin folder..." message with known bug (window is inactive and impossible to locate anything). I've tried the alias workaround but I already have a Waves Preferences folder with an alias.

Any ideas ?
