Default Weird Glitch Importing mp4 on Windows 10

I'm running the latest Windows 10 on a HP Pavilion laptop.

I just bought a new camera (Lumix DC-FZ80) that records video in mp4. I'm trying to import videos to Pro Tools 10 but I'm running into a weird glitch:

When I import a video into Pro Tools, at around the 10:30 mark in the video, the video jumps back to the beginning and plays from there. The total duration of the video clip doesn't change, which means that the end of the video is cut ~10.5 minutes short.

Weirdly, this doesn't happen at exactly the same time: I have two videos, one is 14:48 long and the other is 21:03. the first cuts back to the beginning at around 10:28, while the second cuts back at around 10:32. But a shorter video, say 5 minutes long, works just fine.

Anyone have any experience with this? Any ideas how to fix it?
