Default mbox 2 and intel based macs

is there any way i can run my mbox2 on my intel based mac? ive tried everything and been researching all day....anyone?

So PT LE 7.0 does not run on Snow Leopard (10.6) or Leopard (10.5)

you need to upgrade to PT LE 8.0.3. ($150 in the Avid Store)
PT 8is not officially compatible with 10.6, YET. so expect some hickup.
one can say it works basically. reports are of mixed results.

okay thank you. ive read about the update, i understand that, but is that why my computer wont even reconize my mbox2? if so, than all i need is to get pro tools 8.0.3?

I think you need to install PT first and then connect the mbox.
Doesnt it say so in the manual ?

yea PT is installed and yea i have the usb connected...im beginning to think it just wont work....TIGHT!
