Default PT10 Native Instruments compatibility?

Anyone updated to PT10 who has NI instrument plug ins?

Any issues?

The compatibility chart says:
  • With a few exceptions on Mac OS Lion (listed below), AudioSuite, RTAS, and TDM plug-ins compatible with Pro Tools 9 on Snow Leopard are compatible with Pro Tools 10 on both Lion and Snow Leopard.
Known Plug-in Issues — Pro Tools 10 on Mac OS Lion:
  • Waves "Tune" renders AudioSuite offset by the handle length (PTSW-147635)
    • Workaround: user must set handle length to "0" in order to properly align audio
  • Vocalign does not align audio with the guide track in Pro Tools (PTSW-149841)
    • Will not properly process with handles. Fix from SynchroArts is in the works
  • Massey DRT issues
    • Update from Massey pending for full compatibility

Would like to verify that there are no known issues before I upgrade.

Thank you in advance.

I'm running Kontakt 4 in PT10 with no issues so far.
Have been loading quite large patches and it's working great!

Thumbs down Re: PT10 Native Instruments compatibility?

There seems to be a compatibility issue using the newest version of Kontakt 5.0.1 and PT10. Every time I try to load PT10 with Kontakt 5.0.1 installed it crashes. I removed the kontakt5.0.1.dpm file from the plugins folder and replaced it with the original Kontakt 5.0.0 version and it worked fine.

However Session Strings does not work in Kontakt Version 5.0.0. I get an error that says the patch was created using a newer version of the application please upgrade your application to load patch.

Anyone having this problem?

having issues with Kontakt 5 and Guitar rig 5 in PT10HD. Both can cause crashes, and not necessarily for a particular reason. Almost always crashes if you try to change a patch whilst the session is playing back. But that was always a bit of an issue.
Having lots of plugin issues on PT10HD actually. Gonna try some updates to NI software, and waiting for Autotune Audiosuite fix, and if that doesnt stabilise things will be moving back to PT9

All NI stuff fine for me on pt10hd, but won't work on my lion version. Weird stuff happens on lion.....ni stuff will work for 10-20 seconds then no sound, or metering on the plugin.

Komplete 8 and Maschine are both working without a hitch for me in PT 10. I still prefer to host the CPU heavy stuff in VEP, except for Maschine which doesn't work in VEP. If you're using Maschine in PT, you have to set the buffer size to anything OTHER than 1024, or else timing is off.

Kontakt 4 is also working fine :)
