Unhappy Waves TDM plugins not in insert menu?
Hi,
I have a strange problem.
I downloaded the Waves Gold TDM demo bundle thinking of an upgrade.
The problem is that most of the plugins doesn't appear in the TDM insert menu. For example, no RenEQs or RCompressors. They are all in the Rtas insert menu but not in the TDM.

The version I downloaded is V7r9 complete.
G5 Leopard 10.5.8, PT HD 8.0.1cs1.

Any ideas?

First, check to see if the plig-ins are rtas only. If that's not working, you may have to do the "waves" install which is a little different than the usual one that we do with Pro Tools plug-ins. I do not own waves plugs so I can't help you there but maybe that little bit of information can help you.

When you start pro tools for the first time after install Waves bundle, there is a dialog screen asking for types of plugins to use, RTAs, TDM, HDTM, AU, etc.. Maybe you chose only RTAs. Reinstall and this option will appear again. (I hope so) :)

Hold down 'shift' while booting PT - it should bring that Waves screen up without the re-install.

Yes I did,
A guy at Waves is trying to help me as well and provided me with new licenses but it doesn't solve the problem.
