updated to 3.2.2 and one of my mixes now doesn't work

My Euphonix system has been working fine for some time now but today I updated to the latest Cubase 8.0.2 and had to update eucon.

I have 2 x MC mixes and a transport.

after the update one of the 2 MC mixers has sopped being recognised in eucontrol.

I have tried;

1: reinstalling software

2:swapping cables

3: rebooting network switch

4. changing channels on switch

5. I booted with just that particular unit directly connected to my machine and it was recognised and I updated the firmware.

6. plugged it back into the switch and its not recognised again.



Any ideas?


Avid wanted $40 to open a support ticket...........even though it's their software that's done this to a working system...

Just a vague long shot but have you tried experimenting between static IP vs. DHCP? I guess that's unlikely to be affected by a Eucon update but you never know.

Just FYI... My Eucon 3.2.2 is running smoothly with Cubase 8.0.2 but I'm using an S3 and an Artist Transport.

thanks, everything was working perfectly until I did the update to Eucon software. my second mix is now useless, light up but not recognised.

Not sure how a static IP address will solve this but will look into it.

UPDATE;

got it working after installing bonjour services for windows, I could see the non working mix was on a completely different range of IP address from the other units. I manually changed it so it was in the same range and it now works.
