protools express freezes during loading DAE
Hi IGNORE THIS - PROBLEM SOLVED
after dumping and re-loading the drivers for the fourth time, everything has started up again - thanks for looking. I am running protools express (10.3.4) on an m-box setup on a win 7.1 64 pc. After four happy years of use, I have returned to a project after a couple of months absence from the program. Protools now refuses to load, freezing halfway through the DAE load segment stating it 'unable to find hardware'? My pc recognizes the mbox and ilok, and everything appears normal when I open my ilok page. I've tried the suggestions in other similar threads: downloaded a new ASIO driver, swapping between usb 2/3, new cable, holding 'n' during loading, re-booting, (I also found another thread about allowing cookies (?), but this didn't seem to have any effect). I know others have encountered this? I include my Sandra system report. thanks SiSoftware Sandra ID Host Name : kevin-PC Workgroup : WORKGROUP Computer Model : OEM System Product Name Serial Number : System Ser********** Chassis : Desktop Mainboard : ASUS P8Z77-M Serial Number : 1210029******** BIOS : AMI (OEM) 1708 11/09/2012 Total Memory : 8GB DIMM DDR3 Processors Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4C 3.51GHz, 3.5GHz IMC, 4x 256kB L2, 6MB L3) Socket/Slot : FC LGA1155 Chipset Memory Controller : ASUS Core (Ivy Bridge) DRAM Controller 100MHz, 2x 4GB DIMM DDR3 1.6GHz 128-bit Memory Module(s) Memory Module : Samsung M378B5273EB0-CK0 4GB DIMM DDR3 PC3-12800U DDR3-1600 (11-11-11-29 5-40-13-6) Memory Module : Samsung M378B5273EB0-CK0 4GB DIMM DDR3 PC3-12800U DDR3-1600 (11-11-11-29 5-40-13-6) Video System Monitor/Panel : HKC (1920x1080, 24.3") Video Adapter : NVIDIA GeForce 210 (2CU 16SP SM4.1 1.4GHz/1.49GHz, 1GB DDR3 128-bit, PCIe 2.0 x16) Graphics Processor OpenCL : NVIDIA GeForce 210 (2SP 2C 1.4GHz/1.49GHz, 1GB DDR3 128-bit) D3D 11 : NVIDIA GeForce 210 (16SP 2C 1.4GHz/1.49GHz, 1GB DDR3 128-bit) Storage Devices Seagate ST500DM002-1BD142 (500.1GB, SATA600, 3.5", 7200rpm, 16MB Cache) : 466GB (C:) Seagate ST3500418AS (500.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, 16MB Cache) : 466GB (D:) (E:) (F:) (G:) SD/MMC (USB2/NVMe) : N/A (K:) Compact Flash (USB2/NVMe) : N/A (L:) SM/xD-Picture (USB2/NVMe) : N/A (M:) MS/MS-Pro (USB2/NVMe) : N/A (N:) ATAPI iHAS124 D (272.8MB, SATA150, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 2MB Cache) : 260MB (H:) Logical Storage Devices System Reserved : 350MB (NTFS, 4kB) @ Seagate ST500DM002-1BD142 (500.1GB, SATA600, 3.5", 7200rpm, 16MB Cache) Reserved (D:) : 100MB (NTFS, 4kB) @ Seagate ST3500418AS (500.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, 16MB Cache) Ldisc (C:) : 465GB (NTFS, 4kB) @ Seagate ST500DM002-1BD142 (500.1GB, SATA600, 3.5", 7200rpm, 16MB Cache) Hard Disk (E:) : 146GB (NTFS, 4kB) @ Seagate ST3500418AS (500.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, 16MB Cache) Hard Disk (F:) : 146GB (NTFS, 4kB) @ Seagate ST3500418AS (500.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, 16MB Cache) Hard Disk (G:) : 169GB (NTFS, 4kB) @ Seagate ST3500418AS (500.1GB, SATA300, 3.5", 7200rpm, 16MB Cache) Removable Drive (K:) : N/A @ SD/MMC (USB2/NVMe) Removable Drive (L:) : N/A @ Compact Flash (USB2/NVMe) Removable Drive (M:) : N/A @ SM/xD-Picture (USB2/NVMe) Removable Drive (N:) : N/A @ MS/MS-Pro (USB2/NVMe) M-AUDIO (H:) : 260MB (CDFS, 2kB, Read-Only) @ ATAPI iHAS124 D (272.8MB, SATA150, DVD+-RW, CD-RW, 2MB Cache) Peripherals LPC Hub Controller #1 : ASUS Panther Point LPC Controller Audio Device : ASUS Panther Point High Definition Audio Controller Audio Codec : Realtek Semi High Definition Audio Audio Device : nVidia High Definition Audio Controller Audio Codec : nVidia 000B Audio Codec : nVidia 000B Audio Codec : nVidia 000B Serial Port(s) : 1 Disk Controller : ASUS Panther Point 6 port SATA AHCI Controller USB Controller #1 : ASUS Panther Point USB xHCI Host Controller USB Controller #2 : ASUS Panther Point USB Enhanced Host Controller #2 USB Controller #3 : ASUS Panther Point USB Enhanced Host Controller #1 USB Controller #4 : Renesas Tech uPD720202 USB 3.0 Host Controller SMBus/i2c Controller #1 : Intel ICH SMBus Printers and Faxes Printer : Send to Microsoft OneNote 15 Driver (1200x1200, Colour) Printer : Microsoft XPS Document Writer (600x600, Colour) Fax : Microsoft Shared Fax Driver (200x200) Printer : hp psc 1310 series (600x600, USB, Colour) Peripherals Network Services Network Adapter : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (Ethernet) Wireless Adapter : Belkin AC Wireless USB Adapter (802.11n (HT), AES-CCMP, 144Mbps) Operating System Windows System : Microsoft Windows 7 Personal 6.1.7601 (Service Pack 1) Platform Compliance : x64 Performance Enhancing Tips Warning 2513 : TPM not detected.
