protools.... upgrade?
Hello everybody!... I'm a new member.
My first question: I have a Digi001/G4 466/512Ram and someone is offering me a Protools 4.1.1 system with an 882 interface at a very good price. Considering that is a TDM system, Is that an upgrade? Can I use that system with Protools 5.1 (or 5.3)? What can I expect, more plugins? More stability? Is it too old? Thanks, Planeador. |

Re: protools.... upgrade?
I don't know if they will know this one...considering we don't use TDM. you might want to ask this question to the tdm board.

Re: protools.... upgrade?
Check with digi wether you can upgrade to 5.1 with that hardware. I think it is an advantage. but maybe you have to buy all your plugins again, and that can be costly.
