restoration project woes
I am restoring a voice recording from the late 60's. It was originally recorded on a mono 3 inch reel to reel type recorder that was most likely battery powered. The problem I am having is that the speed is in between normal speeds. I can adjust the pitch to correct the voice back to its original pitch wihout much of a problem. The real problem is that the speed of the recorder was changing as the recording progressed. Does anyone know of a method to resolve this in one pass. I can do small pieces at a time but that becomes labor intensive.
