Default Lowest recording latency on mixerless non-TDM systems? 6 ms?

In a mixerless recording situation, on a G4, when using a CPU based recording system (ProTools LE, Logic, Cubase SX...) what are the lowest latency values can one expect (in+out+latency of converters and possible extra delays in the system). Anyone here who did a test? 6 ms? 12?

I’m not refering to "no-latency mode" (Software Monitoring Off), where one cannot set up an EFX send on the recording track.

Real life results , please... no "it says 1.5 ms in the manual"...
