Default Velvet for $30? WTF???
Musician's Fiend (mis-spelling intentional ) has Velvet on sale for $29.99? And it's marked as a clearance item? I find that interesting.

Wow. I kind of wish I didn't already have it...

The sale is over now; it's gone! But here's a screencap I took while it was up. Just for posterity. :)

GREAT Find. Man I couldnt get my Credit Card out of my Wallet fast enough, Hell I even told the wife I bought this one. The AVID site says its $249.00 for Velvet and the Upgrade is $49.00 so even if this is an older version I could upgrade for $49.00 and stll have Velvet for $80.00. I mean the iLok Tranfer fee is $25.00 and you can buy the whole VI for $29.00 oh and I got Free Shipping from the Musician Friend web site and it looks like they are going to mail me the whole box with the download disc and everything...Nice Find...

NO its Brand new, NO $25.00 iLok transfer fee, The iLok fee is to Transfer the iLok License. Thats what makes this such a great deal for only $25.00 you have the iLok License forever which you could sell if you wanted.

Yes it says you need internet access and an iLok and iLok account to add the Velvet to your iLok Account...
