help, what am i doing wrong - midi input in pt problem
i don't quite understand it. this has worked before.
i use an oxygen 8 keyboard to trigger midi. it used to work with the hybrid plug in, but now it doesn't. the oxygen 8 functions perfectly when using reason standalone or thru rewire. it also works fine with absynth when in standalone mode, but not when opened as an rtas inside pt. i've gone over all the midi settings in pro tools and everything is exactly where it should be... are there some preferences files i should trash? running pt 7.3.1 on a dual 2g mac g5 thanks for any help |

Re: help, what am i doing wrong - midi input in pt problem
Check your MIDI studio set-up and make the Oxygen is showing as the MIDI controller. You may also need to make sure the ports are set-up correctly. I had the same problem. Also, if you turn on the Oxygen after launching PT, PT won't "see" it properly. As a gen rule, boot up PT last, after everything else is turned on. I found that out the hard way, too.
