QT from internal G4 ATA
Does anyone of you wizards know if I can run QT-video from my internal ATA HD while the audio plays from an external SCSI-drive attached to a SCSI-accelerator? And can I run the video on the processor power without the MiroMotion-card?
Thanks... /T |

Re: QT from internal G4 ATA
Yes. I stuffed a 36 gig AT66 drive into my G4 which is used strictly for QT Movie playback in PT and it works great. Not sure what you're asking about running pix without a MIRO or other video card. You need some sort of capture device and most require you use their compression scheme to obtain true 30fps/60field video playback. Good luck

Re: QT from internal G4 ATA
Tombi,
I am using a 20 Gig ATA just for QT playback and it works fine. Blue G3 400 MHz with an Auroa Fuse video card. |
