Are PT files cross-platform?
If I email someone a PT session (and audio) file that was generated on a Mac, will they be able to open it on their PC? How does that work? Thanks in advance for answers...

(general link on top of this page) http://answerbase.digidesign.com/detail.cfm?DID=5171 http://answerbase.digidesign.com/detail.cfm?DID=5169 You should stuff them to get safely through the internet but that means that on the other side they will need a PC based unstuffing program.

5.1 and later session files can be interchanged with the PC without being stuffed if they are created using Mac/PC compatibility mode (which requires that WAV or AIF files be used and causes files to be created that have 3 letter extensions .pts, .wav, .aif.)
