I tried the demo and thought it was fantiastic. Reeeally analog sounding effects compressor. Great for heavy compression on drum mults, piano, and guitars. Somewhat limited in application, but what it does do, it does better than anything else. Kinda expensive so I haven't bought it yet, but it is only a matter of time.

Agreed -- not subtle.. but if you're looking for that heavy compression thing.. it does it really well. Nice to have in the arsenal.

I like really like the sound of the EMI's
On R&B lead vocals it does a very nice job. I do use it on drums and Piano too. George Ware

tried it on room mics, the 2005 version, because it has an input level, so I could control how much I drive the limiter.
Put it in the mix of the drums, sounded very good. Then tried the same thing with Channel G in limiting mode, put it in the mix, couldn't tell the difference, decided to not buy. Sounds great, is nice, but what I would use it for I could achieve with plugs I already owned.

It's the first plug-in compressor that I find remotely decent.
