List of bugs in PT 12.6 - please contribute

Midi device recognition does not work every time PT loads. Worked fine before update. Have to restart PTHD 12.6 several times to get device to show.

I use an audio track to track vocals then dump them on other tracks. had a track that has delay throw on it so its automated to on only where i turn it on, after i record vocals on my record track then drag the audio onto the track with delay throw send, the automation turns on automatically for that track. Its an annoying bug that is slowing my work flow.

Weird cpu spikes when I launch or remove avid channel strip. This session has 1% cpu usage, and on launch or removal, the meter jumps to around 50% usage, stays for around 10 Seconds, and then back to 1%....

If I have a group that contains audio tracks + MIDI tracks, and I actively record for this group, the Midi tracks are not activated.

It breaks your workflow.

This is a bug on Mac, because it works on PC. Support for Avid said he put him on the list of bugs in version 12.5, but this is not corrected 12.6.

Sounds like you have Automation Follows Edit selected in the Options window.

1st download, worked great on one session. Then showed this message below on all projects "The current playback does not support a sample rate of 44.1 kHz.". Started a case with Avid and couldn't get any help on Friday...too busy. They said to call back Saturday as they had extras working with the 12.6 update. The guy on Sat said he couldn't do techy stuff so try the items in an email he sent. That's all he could do. The 2 items had no relation to this problem. So I decided to uninstall and reinstall to see if that might fix it. So it did fix it for a while and now it's back. So after posting this, I'll uninstall/reinstall. Great! Maybe there's a fix inside Pro Tools settings someone knows of I could change. PT opens, just not the projects.

If you are on Windows - only guessing as you gave us zero information to work with - make sure your onboard soundcard is the default for Windows sounds/audio and use your audio interface - you do have one, yes? - only for Pro Tools.

I use that feature, i try to recreated the bug, but seems to be effecting just this one session a new blank session doesn't have the same results. could be other plugins not fully compatible yet, also dragging around audio clips does weird quick motions when switching clips to other tracks with multiple high track counts, anyone else having that issue?

As soon as I started using clip effects my keyboard dies. It works for about a minute then anything on the edit screen won't work. Play, tab, shortcuts. I can save and access the top menu bar but nothing else. Avid is such a total bummer.
