uninstall - install 7.3?

Hi,

I just downloaded PTLE 7.3 update and also the 7.3.1 update. Do I have to uninstall my current version 7.1 to install 7.3?

Going by some of the comments here i might leave it for a few weeks anyway until I hear all is running smoothly with 7.3.1
