Default Sonnet eGFX Thunderbolt 3 chassis and Avid HDX

Just wanted to pass along my findings for using these things together.

The auxiliary power connector for the HDX card is a non-standard size and so if you try to use it in the eGFX chassis, the aux power connectors will not mate up.

I asked Sonnet about this and they are going to be making some adapters, but in the meantime you will need to get an adapter from Amazon, cut the ends off of it and the HDX card aux power and connect the wires.

It seems to work fine other than that.

Best,
jd
