Default ProjectMix IO and FireWire 410 for outputs...

I'm considering purchasing either a Projectmix or a 002, and i'm leaning towards the projectmix. One thing kind of irks me, though - the ProjectMix only has 4 outputs (1/4") compared to the 002's 10. I own a 410, though. Can i hook up the 410 via an adat connection and use the extra 8 1/4" outputs on the 410 to run my racks and such? Will any signal degradation result?

Any thoughts/help is muchly appreciated
