Default BSOD PT 7.4.7? New Hdd

Hey,
I have been in the middle of trying to get a New Hdd setup. You can look at my sig for my system details...
Well I did a complete system reformat and fresh install. Last night I was having a problem trying to access a session from my New Hdd. It kept saying

This session is saved on a Macintosh HFS-formatted volume, and must be copied to a valid Windows volume to be opened. Sound Designer II (SD2) files, if any, will be converted to the BWF (.wav) format.
To save this session and its media to another drive, choose OK. The session will automatically open from the chosen location.
Cancel OK
Well I DID have Mac HFS+ compatibility installed. So I dont know what the problem was. So I uninstalled Pro Tools and Reinstalled it. I entered the install key and it looked ok. But if I go to start a new session or even open an old session it locks and Ive even gotten a BSOD...
Here is my Sandra Report...SiSoftware Sandra

So what the heck is going on?
I have had Pro Tools working on my system before. The only real change is the New Hdd.
The MAIN problem Im having is that ANYtime I select new session or open session it just plain old locks up. And it either just sits there or BSOD's me...

I know that the forums have been flooded with "Beta Testers" for PT 8 but does anyone have any idea why Im getting a BSOD from trying to open a session or even from trying to start a new session?

The Mac HFS+ thing never worked for me, was always finnicky, but MacDrive has always worked and I've been able to use HFSJ drives with that as Record drives on XP no problem.

The only thing that leads me to think that its not the new drive is that I get the BSOD even if I click on new session. So if I open up PT in Vista...and it opens up all the way...I can click on the other tabs. But the second...and I mean second I click on the new session tab it locks up. It also does this when I click on he open session tab too...but clicking on the new session tab shouldnt really have anything to do with the new Hdd. Cause I could start a new session on the boot drive not the New seperate Hdd. So like I said, that alone leads me to beleive that it isnt just the new Hdd thats doing it...

I'm getting a strong sense of Deja Vu...

Haven't I helped you with this issue before?

You really do have a few things against you;
  1. you're running under Bootcamp. There are a growing number of users that do (including me with what I consider success), but it is not a high percentage, and it is definitely not officially supported by Digidesign.
  2. You're running Vista. That brings the above percentage far, far, far lower. I know all of the "I have Vista running great" users will probably chime in and call me an idiot, but I (and many others) definitely still DO NOT RECOMMEND RUNNING PRO TOOLS UNDER VISTA, even though it is "officially supported", and especially not under Bootcamp.
  3. from our other discussions (and I sincerely mean no offense here) you don't have a very strong basic computer knowledge for the system(s) that you are using. It's very difficult to diagnose and assist over the internet like that, and you may be better off seeking out someone who is local to you that can assist in person.

Well Yep you probably are getting a bit of deja vu. But this is a new problem. At first i was able to run ProTools on Vista. Its just that I couldnt run it at anything under a 1024 buffer size. So I purchased a new Hdd for Audio only cause someone here recommended it. Then after trying to get that properly installed Pro Tools started acting funny. I could open up the program and I even got past the splash screen. But the second I clicked on the tab for start a new session or open session my computer locked up. Then after a few days of half heartedly trying I got a even newer problem. Now When I click on the icon to start up Pro Tools it will either lock up my whole system or I actually get a real BSOD. So its been getting progressivly worse.
I posted my Sandra report in hopes that someone could see something that might be in conflict as its always the first thing asked for when someone is having trouble...
I dont believe its the new Hdd thats causing the problem since just clicking on the Pro Tools icon to start up Pro Tools is locking me up and that has nothing to do with the seperate Hdd.
That and the fact that I can run any number of programs on Vista right now...today and they all work fine. And that coupled with the fact that just a few weeks ago I WAS running Pro Tools on Vista makes me think that something is majorly wrong with PT itself...
So there is nothing anyone can see in my Sandra report that looks funny?
