Error occured while trying to load the controller personality "HUI"

hello guys im having a big big problem,,im running PT LE 8 on a imac,i have Tascam FW1082 as my control surface along with MBox2 for mic inputs,i recently updated to PT LE 8.0.1 and sice then iv had nothing but problems the error comes up,ERROR OCCURED WHILE TRYIN TO LOAD THE CONTROLLER PERSONALLITY HUI,,,,and now PT doesnt recognise my control surface as an interface and also i av a axiom25 hooked now it doesnt recognise it either,,,,please help,im about to loose my brains..should i trash preferences or wat if i uninstall PT LE the the new update gona go too...pls help

Does the Axiom 25 show up in Audio MIDI Setup? In what way isn't it 'recognized'?

I would recommend an uninstall/reinstall of Pro Tools, making sure to trash the HUI profile that's in the Controllers folder inside your Pro Tools folder before reinstalling - it sounds like the current profile is corrupted. Alternately you could obtain the personality file from another system (with the same version of PT) and replace it.
