Once you have a clean operating system installed, DO NOT migrate using Time Machine or the infamous Migration Assassin but instead copy your stuff back manually. Then install Pro Tools and all your plugins.

Re: PTHD11.3 Yosemite stability?
Yes it is, but you will thank yourself later for doing it. I have found out that most random errors go away by simply installing stuff properly. Operating system upgrades (the major version, not updates like 10.10.1 to 10.10.2) can mess many things and should be avoided if possible.

Re: PTHD11.3 Yosemite stability?
Pro Tools HD 11.3 keeps on quitting
When looping the entire song for a couple of times Pro Tools HD 11.3 quits. Pro Tools HD 11.2 system didn't have this problem at all. My system: - Mac Pro 3.2 GHz quad core (June 2012). - Memory: 32 GB - Mac OS X 10.10.1 - Pro Tools HD Native System - HD I/O 16x16 - Pro Tools HD 11.3 |

From ReadMe: Fixing an MIDI Engine allocation leak, which results Pro Tools to crash after a certain amount of playback time with certain 3rd party VI (PT-201209, PTSW-197366, PT-200286) Finally my dealer managed to forward my crash reports to an avid guy and he stated a couple of months ago that the problem was within PT-SW and not on my system !!!! It was very frustrating during the last months with lots of daily crashes !!!
