Cubase lets user adjust basic stuff like this with sliders, DP and Live have multiple preset skins, Reaper has the most extensive theming capabilities out there (and some really beautiful and usable themes!), Logic has a dark gui already, and Pro Tools has ... nothing.

I don't think PT's look is all that bright. As a matter of fact, on a properly calibrated monitor screen, it's quite easy to look at. I hate circus color gui's. You do know you can change, to a limited extent, the saturation of track colors as well as go to black and white, right?
