Default Increasing RAM usage in PT

Would someone kindly direct me to the thread that gives the procedures for PT allocating more RAM usage? I remember reading it and I've searched for it but can't seem to find it. Thanks.

Steve

What OS are you working with? How much do you have installed? How much are you seeing now?

Unfortunately the system's down right now. I purchased a Sweetwater rig and the ps failed so they're shipping me a new one. I can tell you that the OS is WinXP and I will have 4G installed, but I couldn't tell you how much I'm seeing now. I'm also going to pop in a 2.66GHz Core 2 Quad (Asus P5K SE). I understand that Win can only see so much RAM, but I know I ran into a thread that shows how to get in and modify a PT .dat file or such to increase the amount of RAM that PT can allocate.

Thanks,

Steve

Just read the first post of that thread. That will tell you how. I'll report how it worked for me.
