Default More inputs and outputs
Hi, I have a Scarlett 18i20 2nd gen. Are there other options to expand my inputs and outputs other than the Scarlett Octopre?

Any 8-channel pre with ADAT outputs. There are lots of 'em!!!

Check out the Behringer ADA 8200. ( I use the older model 8000).

Edit: It's limited to 44.1K or 48K. Not sure if other units have such a limitation.

Presonus 8 in/out quantum interfaces is less than 600 USD.

I honestly haven't even looked at the comparison data. I bought one 2nd hand, having previously been happy with Presonus devices, and it works fine - very clean preamps. Years ago I recorded some harmony vocals using the 003+, a Digimax, and an ART preamp. The ART sounded like crap. The 003+ was pretty good, and the Presonus had the best clarity. Used ones on eBay are between $150-$200.

Are you still using a digimax and if so are you using it with the 003 or a different interface

Not really looking for another interface. Just need more ins and outs for hardware inserts. Don't even really need preamps in it just line ins and outs as I already have other preamps I prefer
