Please help newbie (avid app manager help.exe probs

Hi there,
many thanks for looking , pulling my hair out , i would say im intermediate rather than new ,, i really need help . My pro tools keeps freezing due to (avid application manager helper.exe ) ? I know this due to going deep into my system info CPU usage etc . I have nothing on my p.c using cpu or only very small percentage However ,, its showing avid application manager helper.exe and there are more than one of these on the list showing same ,,, these are using all my cpu i.e jumping from 0 percent to 80 down to 70 up to 100 ,, This is without pro tools running ? do i actualy need help.exe running ,,
ok my p.c AMD A8 processor 6410apu AMD radeon R5 graphics 2.00 ghz
8 GBS Ram 64 bit opp system x 64 bassed prossesor .
also lots of send and receive showing on the help.exe , really dont understand
Can any one please help i cant see this issue on any of the online helps .
I will say also the Task manager within pro tools while im using it keeps popping up without my command and im continually having to close this ,,

Hi for the purpose of testing uninstall the Avid app manager and test again . You can always disable it from auto start on windows msconfig too without unistalling and/or if PT runs better withou it .
