Default S6 and Artist series on one network

Hi, is it possible to have the S6 and Artist series on one shared network so we could use it from different machines?

In case my first post was not clear.
Both controllers will have their own dedicated switches, but those two dedicated switch will be connected to a studio network.
My guess would be that it may cause problems, but would like to get some official or empirical answer if possible. Thanks.

Speaking from a strictly computer networking point of view I'd imagine if they each had different ip addresses/network addresses there would be no problems.

Thanks, that's what I hope. On the other hand, wouldn't it be a problem to have the S6 and artist sofware installed at the same time on the computer?

As long as they're running the same version of Eucon should be no problem.

On the back of of the S6 master module there are 2 Ethernet ports. One is for the internal DHCP that runs the self contained network for the console and the workstation. The other is a completely separate network adapter to use an external host domain such as a LAN. You could theoretically use anything using the Eucon protocol on a separate host server throughout the facility. Or if you really want to get lazy, run an s6 from your living room to a virtual private network on your studio LAN and control it from home.
