LOADING UP NON PROTOOLS PROJECTS...
I currently switched over from PC to Mac (Nuendo to ProTools) and want to be able to view and edit my nuendo projects on protools/002. How can this be done? Thanks!

Re: LOADING UP NON PROTOOLS PROJECTS...
The easiest way is to go back and open the sessions on Nuendo and consolidate all the tracks to bar 1 of each session so that each track is just one long uncut piece of audio. Then you can just import the consolidated audio files into a new ProTools session and not have to worry about lining them up since they'll all start at bar 1.
The longer and more PITA route is to export each Nuendo file as OMF (assuming Nuendo can do this), then you have to purchase the Digitranslator option for PTLE in order to be able to import OMF files. You then have to deal with all the hassles that usually go along with this (it usually takes a couple of tries with different settings etc.). |
