Default Mac for 12|HD

I've been using my MacPro3,1 (harpertown) to run PT11|HD Native. But no version of PT12 will run on my system. I'm wondering which mac pro studios are using to run PT12|HD.

Thanks in advance for the info.

used to have a Harpertown myself.

I got a 6-core 3.33 Mac Pro 2012 (5,1) a few years ago and it's been great. And was only $1500 at the time, probably way less now of course.

Not too much cheaper,

How's your CPU usage for a typical rock mix 30 to 40 tracks at the most with VI's?
