Default Is buying a Control 24 for LE a waste?

I am seriously thinking about it and would love to hear your thoughts.

If you need to control faders or will upgrade to hd later yes.......I used one with my rack+ and sold mine when I upgraded to HD and now find myself wishing I hadn't....

Pretty much my opinion. I would look for a used C24 before a Control 24 since there were some upgrades made to the C24. I don't think you need to be planning on HD but if your were routinely tracking live bands with all 18 I/O or need 24 faders to mix with with you could justify it in LE.
