Pro Tools 10 Running SLOW
I JUST bought a brand-new iMac last month and it's actually running slower than my 4 year old PC that only had 4GB RAM. I'm getting the "cant get information from CPU" message. Any ideas from anyone on what I should do to get it to AT LEAST run as well as my old PC?

Re: Pro Tools 10 Running SLOW
Start reading the documentation in the release notes for 10. You might want to read disk caching in particular.

Re: Pro Tools 10 Running SLOW
do you think this is the same problem everyone else has been having with PT10 and iMacs with all the CPU errors?
