I Can't uninstall/reinstall...audio drivers already on Computer?

Hi. I recently reinstalled windows on my computer. I reinstalled pro tools and everything, plugged in my 003 and everything seemed to be working fine. I then tried to open it with an Mbox 2 and it wouldn't open pro tools. Now I can't open pro tools period w/ my 003 or Mbox 2. I can't uninstall either. I've uninstalled everything that has to do with pro tools. Even after I force the uninstall i still get this message

"Digidesign Audio Drivers appear to be installed on this computer. The Protools driver versions are not compatible with installed Digidesign audio Drivers.

I have my 003 and Mbox2 just sitting here and I can't use them. What do I do. I've already uninstalled internet explorer 8. I can't find these so called drivers on my computer either. Do I have to delete my hard drive and reinstall windows from scratch? I really don't want to do that.
Anybody that could help?

Ya...I've already tried that a few times. It still doesn't work. I'm stuck. officially. I'm gonna hold off for a while, but I fear a complete system restore will be in the future.
