Can't get HUI/MCU Modes to work

I can't get any non Eucon programs to work with my Artist Series Hardware.

I opened 5 ports under HUI/MCU.

Then I opened 8 channels worth of HUI/MCU in Sony Vegas 12. I tried MCU Emulation, HUI, and Generic Remote.

They will not see each other!

Also tried it with DaVinci Resolve.

Same deal, NOTHING!

Both of these programs say they can be controlled using the HUI Protocol. I found a video where someone was actually doing it with Vegas 12 (which is what I have).

I see lots of programs that will work with this protocol, but I can't get past the first step, because Artist Series HUI does not talk to ANYBODY ELSE'S HUI! What am I doing wrong? How do I get this thing to engage?

I heard back from Black Magic Design. They only support USB HUI NOT ETHERNET! So, this mystery is now solved. 😢

I don't suppose I could SPLIT THE ETHERNET SIGNAL and run a mirrored set of Cat5 to USB2 converters to get the video apps to see HUI/MCU from the controllers, could I?
